Frattalone's 36 saves not enough to keep Hornets at bay.

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. -- Charlie Frattalone stopped 36 of 40 shots he faced but Benilde-St. Margaret's managed just 12 shots on goal and suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Edina.

The Hornets scored three times in the opening period, taking the lead just one minute, 33 seconds into the game and the Red Knights were unable to respond.

Fourteen of Edina's 40 shot came while on the power play but BSM was four-for-four on the penalty-kill, killing nine minutes in all.

The Red Knights are now idle for 11 days until taking part in the North/South Challenge, hosting Brainerd, Dec. 6, and Class A No. 2 Hermantown, Dec. 7.
