First line ignites five-goal win for Red Knights

BSM remains unbeaten with 6-1 win over SLP.

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. -- The Benilde-St. Margaret's top line of Jackson Bisson, Asher Connolly and Adam Marshall accounted for three of six goals and eight of 16 points as the third-ranked Red Knights ran their record to 5-0-0 with a 6-1 win over No. 16 St. Louis Park.

Marshall led the scoring parade with a four-point outing, assisting on the game's first three goals before scoring his team-leading fifth goal of the season with three minutes, 58 seconds remaining in the game.

After Marshall set up Bisson's goal to open the scoring just 1:13 into the contest, Bisson returned the favor on Marshall's goal while Connolly assisted on Tristan Sarsland's goal from the left circle, 37 seconds into the second period, before scoring at 9:01.

BSM also got goals from two of their bottom six forwards as Gino Gatti and Mitchell Dokman found the back of the net in the game's final minutes, both scoring for the second time this season.


Carson Limesand ran his record to 5-0-0 on the season with a season-high 28 saves.

The Red Knights used a 13-7 advantage in shots on goal in the game's final 17 minutes to hold a 31-29 edge over the Orioles for the game.

Up next for BSM is the first of two consecutive Metro West Conference games at the Bloomington Ice Garden. Thursday, the Red Knights are slated to face Bloomington Kennedy in a 7:15 p.m. contest.
