BSM junior varsity skates to rout of Kennedy
Schliesman scores five in a seven-point night.
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Quinn Schliesman scored five goals and his seven-point effort led to a 14-0 rout by Benilde-St. Margaret's over Bloomington Kennedy.
Schliesman and Max Wendt alternated scoring the first four goals of the second period as both players completed their hat tricks.
Six other players; Mikey Lindberg, Charlie Hoch, Luke Drews, A.J. Pauly, Ryan Baird and Gino Gatti; also recorded goals as every skater was at least +1 with 10 players recording a +4 or better.
Sam Schumacher faced just nine shots in recording the shutout for the Red Knights, who had a 64-9 advantage in shots on goal.
BSM returns to the Bloomington Ice Garden, Tuesday, for another Metro West Conference game versus Bloomington Jefferson. Game time is slated for 5:15 p.m.
Gino Gatti had five points and was +7 in his first JV game of the season.
