Chapman earns shutout in BSM win.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Back-to-back goals by Quinn Schliesman in the second period broke open the game and Brennan Chapman made 12 saves to earn his second shutout of the season as the Benilde-St. Margaret's junior varsity posted a 6-0 win at Bloomington Jefferson.

Mason Baldwin opened the scoring when he took a low-to-high pass from Ben Norris at the left point and his shot found its way through traffic five minutes, 57 seconds into the game for the only tally the Red Knights would need.

A three-goal second period got underway just 92 seconds into the stanza as Max Wendt tallied his sixth goal of the season.

Schliesman scored just 77 seconds later and added BSM's fourth goal goal with 7:06 to play in frame.

Norris and Luke Drews added third-period goals to finish the scoring as the Red Knights held a 48-12 advantage in shots on goal.

BSM returns home, Saturday, for a 12:30 p.m. matinee versus Metro West Conference opponent Chaska.

Quinn Schliesman's ninth and 10th goals of the season broke open the game in the second period.
