BSM gets back to winning ways with 6-2 victory over Chanhassen.

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. -- Ben Norris scored just 95 seconds into the game and a Tristan Sarsland goal, before the period was out, snapped a 1-1 tie and led second-ranked Benilde-St. Margaret's to a 6-2 win over Chanhassen.

Both Sarsland and Mitchell Dokman, who also had an assist for a three-point night, scored a pair of goals in the victory, becoming the team's fourth and fifth players to reach double digits in goals this season.

But the game got off to a quick start due to Norris' goal, scored on a shot where he cut towards the middle from the right side and his wrist shot from the top of the circle saw Storm goalie Sean Gates get a piece of, but it trickled past him and inside the right post.

The visitors got that goal back with four minutes, 49 seconds to play in the opening period when Gavin Uhlenkamp scored the first of his two goals on the night but, 71 seconds later, the Red Knights regained the lead on Sarsland's first goal of the night.

The BSM co-captain skated the puck into the zone on the right side before cutting to the net at the goal line. His pass across the top of the crease couldn't be caught by Mason Stenger, as he was being checked, but he tipped the puck back to Sarsland, coming around the net, and he scored from a low angle to give the Red Knights the lead for good.

The score remained that way for more than 18 minutes before the hosts took a 3-1 lead with the lone goal of the second period as Brendan McMorrow made a backhand pass off the boards in front of his own bench. Dokman caught the pass and skated across the top of the slot before shooting back across Gates' body for his 10th goal of the season.

Tristan Sarsland reached double-digits in goals when he scored his ninth and 10th of the season.

Sarsland then scored just 35 seconds into the third period on a blast from the right point and the three-goal deficit proved to be insurmountable for the Storm.

However, Uhlenkamp's second goal, three minutes later, gave the visitors some hope but Dokman dashed those hopes midway through the period when he broke into the zone on the left side, beat a defenseman around the corner and scored while going across the top of the crease.

With 90 seconds remaining in the game, the Red Knights' fourth line got into the act as Gino Gatti and Ryan Baird won a battle for the puck along the right boards before Baird moved the puck to Brady Yakesh, who had three assists on the night.

Yakesh shot from the right point and A.J. Pauly, coming into the low slot from the left side, tipped the puck to Gatti who deposited it into an empty net.

BSM held a 37-14 advantage in shots on goal as Mason McElroy stopped four shots in all three periods to collect his 14th victory of the season.

The second of three games this week, and the final regular-season road game, is up next for the Red Knights as they head to the Champlin Forum for Thursday's 7 p.m. game with Champlin Park.
