Kopischke posts 10-point week as BSM extends unbeaten streak to six games.

Seven goals were scored during the game's first 17 minutes and Jack Johnson's natural hat trick lead the Red Knights to a 5-2 lead, which eventually turned into a 9-2 win for the hosts.

The teams traded goals just 27 seconds apart when Aaron Hatlestad opened the scoring, seven minutes, 27 seconds into the game.

After the Wildcats scored to even the game, Johnson netted his three goals in a span of just 2:42 and Max Schumacher's goal with 1:23 to play in the opening stanza sent the home team into the locker room with a 5-2 lead.

Following a wild first period, the game settled down in the second period with Mark Walsma's goal at 2:52 being the only tally of the middle session.

After registering assists on the first four Red Knight goals of the game, Bergen Kopischke scored 5:38 into the final period to cap a five-point night.

Mark Walsma added his second goal just 19 seconds later and David Langevin's power play goal, his first goal of the season, capped off the victory, which went to Jacob Diebel, who recorded 12 saves.


During a wild, seven-goal first period, Jack Johnson recorded a natural hat trick to lead the Red Knights.


Jan. 9, 2025 -- BSM 3, Eden Prairie 1

Max Schumacher had a goal and an assist, and Alex Beaton made 26 saves as the Red Knights defeated Eden Prairie, 3-1.

The hosts scored the game's first three goals with Aaron Hatlestad kicking off the scoring at the game's 9:55 mark, while Schumacher scored the eventual game winner with 1:18 to play in the opening frame.

Bergen Kopischke record his sixth point of the week when he scored just 3:54 into the second period before the visitors got on the scoreboard midway through the stanza.

From there, Beaton took over as he stopped the Eagles' final 12 shots to help seal the win.

Although dominating most aspects of the game, including a 45-27 advantage in shots on goal, the Red Knights ran into a hot goalie as Eden Prairie's Nathan Dickinson made 42 saves, including the final 27 shots taken by the home team.


Alex Beaton stopped 26 of 27 shots to backstop the Red Knights 3-1 victory.


Bergen Kopischke capped off a 10-point weeks with a goal and three assists, extending his goal-scoring streak to five games and his point-scoring streak to eight games as BSM capped off its third win in five days by defeating Moorhead, 5-2.

Mark Walsma got the scoring going early by tallying just 1:22 into the contest.

However, Moorhead tied the game last than a minute later, but Kopischke gave his team the lead for goal at 3:55 of the first period.

Decker Dahlof and Brayden Kvamme traded goals before the period came to an end as BSM went into the first intermission with a 3-2 win.

The second period saw Danny Hankey score on the power play and Jac Johnson talled the game's final goal.

The Red Knights' defense clamped down on the hosts, allowing just 14 shots on goal, including only three in the game's final 17-minute session.

Kopischke was active offensively, recording a game-high six shots on goal while going +3 for during the Red Knights' 10th win of the season.

Alex Beaton stopped 12 shots to earn his fifth win of the season.

BSM returns home, Thursday, as it takes on Metro West Conference foe Chaska in a 5 p.m. game.


Decker Dahlof had three points, four shots on goal and was +3 in the win over Moorhead.
