Former Red Knight goalie Mark Guggenberger has earned the Western Hockey League's goalie of the week honor for Nov. 5.

After stopping 57 of 59 shots while winning two games last week, Guggenberger was nominated by the league for the Canadian Hockey League's ADT Goaltender of the Week award.

A Richfield, Minn., native, Guggenberger is second in the WHL with nine wins.

One of the top goalies in BSM history, Guggenberger ranks in the top five of all Red Knight goaltending records lists. He holds both the career (.914) and single-season (.930, 2004-05) records for save percentage.
