Benilde-St. Margaret's will appear twice on FSN's 24-game High School Hockey Night schedule this season.
The Red Knights' first appearance will be Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. when they travel to Aldrich Arena to face Hill-Murray. Last season, the two teams went into overtime before Christian Horn with 69 seconds to play to secure a 3-2 win.
The Pioneers, the 2008 Class AA state champions, reached the consolation final at last year's state tournament.
BSM's second appearance on FSN will be its Jan. 29 meeting with Moorhead at the St. Louis Park Rec Center. The two teams have never met but will both participate in the Holiday Classic at the Rec Center, Dec. 28-30, before their scheduled meeting one month later.
Last season, the Spuds' season, like the Red Knights' season, came to an end with a loss to Eden Prairie as Moorhead fell, 3-0, in the state title game.
BSM's season gets underway, Dec. 1, when the Red Knights take on St. Cloud Tech at the National Hockey Center at 7 p.m.
Dec. 5 will be the Red Knights' home opener as they host Stillwater at the SLP Rec Center, beginning at 7 p.m.
