Lushanko then set up Andrew Habel's goal for the Wildcats but BSM got two power-play goals to close out the scoring with Besse scoring his ninth goal of the season, finishing his second hat trick, and Alec Anderson collecting his first career goal.

Jacob Meyers made 11 saves to get the victory while Anders Jecha made his varsity debut and stopped three shots in the final period.

The Red Knights will close out the pre-Christmas portion of their schedule, Dec. 22, when they travel to Rochester to face Century. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
