Benilde-St. Margaret's Boys' Hockey

Although the Red Knights outshot Rochester in each period, it took a pair of 3rd period goals to finally put Century away.  BSM defeated Rochester 4 - 2.

BSM opened the scoring at 9:19 of the first period on a goal by John Duda, with the assists going to Patrick Steinheiser and Sam Anderson.

Century came back to tie the score about 2 1/2 minutes later on a goal by Drew Anderson.  The teams went into the first intermission tied at 1.

Rochester opened the scoring in the second period on a goal from Cory Kautz.  Grant Besse answered back with a goal at the 13:47 mark with the assists going to Christian Horn and Jake Horton.

Early in the third period, the Red Knights got the game winning goal on the power play from Will Nelson tipping in Brett Patterson's shot.  Grant Besse also had an assist on the play.  BSM finished the scoring with Brett Patterson getting an empty net goal in the last minute of play.

BSM outshot Rochester 41 - 23 for the game.  Jacob Meyers earned the victory in net.  The Red Knights next will take on Wayzata in the Holiday Hockey Classic.
