Patrick Steinhauser's 5 point effort leads the way to victory

The Red Knights aced their chemistry test against Maple Grove.  With some minor line juggling, the Red Knights were clicking all "knight" long and the new line chemistry was working very well.  Patrick Steinhauser lead the way with 5 points, assisting on the first 4 goals and scoring the last in BSM's 5 - 1 victory over Maple Grove.  The line of Grant Besse, Patrick Steinhauser, and Christian Horn combined for 12 points on the night.

Grant Besse got the Red Knights rolling with a power play goal at the 11:27 mark.  Exactly 2 minutes later, Christian Horn scored from feeds from both of his line mates.

Maple Grove cut the lead in half 48 seconds into the 2nd period on a goal by Alec Horton.  That was as close as Maple Grove would come.  Jake Horton added a power play goal from Patrick Steinhauser and Christian Horn at the 12:16 mark.  The final goal of the period was scored by Grant Besse, with Steinhauser and Dan Pemberton on the assists.

The lone goal of the 3rd period was scored by Steinhauser with the assists going to Will Nelson and Christian Horn.  Jacob Meyers made 33 saves in the victory.

The Red Knights return to league play on January 7th against St. Louis Park.
