Benilde-St. Margaret's Boys' Hockey

Former Benilde-St. Margaret's co-captain Zach Risteau '15 has made a verbal commitment to attend and play for St. Lawrence University next season.

Risteau put together back-to-back 20-goal seasons in his final two years as a Red Knight, including a team-leading and career-high 22 goals during his junior campaign in 2014-15.

During his senior season, he nearly tripled his assist number as he scored 21 goals and 29 assists for a 50-point season.

This season, he leads the Merritt Centennials of the British Columbia Hockey League with 26 goals and 50 points while playing 53 games. He is tied for 19th in league goal-scoring and is third among BCHL rookies.

His commitment to St. Lawrence will see him join former BSM, and current Centennial, teammate Cade Gleekel '15 next season in Canton, N.Y., where they will once again don the red and for St. Lawrence, which also features former Red Knight Pat Steinhauser '11 this season.
