BSM remains unbeaten in conference play with win over Jaguars.

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. -- Charlie Warnert scored with three minutes, 53 seconds to play to snap a scoreless tie and give Benilde-St. Margaret's a 1-0 Metro West Conference win over Bloomington Jefferson.

The win was the Red Knights' fourth in a row and fifth in six games in 2018. It also allowed BSM to remain unbeaten in conference play at 3-0-1.

Jaguar goalie Basil Kamsheh and the Red Knights' Carson Limesand locked into a scoreless duel for 47 minutes before James Norkosky broke into the Jefferson zone and got off a shot from the right faceoff circle.

Norkosky picked up his own rebound, skated behind the net and into the left corner before getting the puck to Charlie Bischel, who took the puck back behind the Jefferson goal.

Carson Limesand turned in a 21- save effort for his third shutout of the season.

Bischel then slipped the puck out front, where Warnert, rushing down the slot, found the loose puck and poked it past Kamsheh for his second goal of the season.

BSM had a 34-21 advantage in shots on goal with Limesand recording 21 saves to earn his third shutout of the season.

The Red Knights are home again, Saturday, to face Bloomington Kennedy in another conference match up. Game time is set for 2:30 p.m.
