Marshall's redirection provides game's lone goal.

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. -- Adam Marshall redirected a James Callahan shot for the game's only goal and No. 15 Benilde-St. Margaret's claimed a 1-0 overtime win from No. 9 Hill-Murray.

The game's lone goal came 18 seconds into the Red Knights' sixth power-play opportunity of the game and their second of the overtime period.

Nate Schweitzer's pass from the right point, to Callahan at the left point, gave the sophomore defenseman a shooting lane and he unloaded a shot towards the Pioneer goal.

Marshall, moving right to left just outside the Hill-Murray goal crease, knocked the puck down from a foot off the ice, changing direction of the puck and between the legs of goalie Remington Keopple with two minutes, 38 seconds elapsed in the overtime.

The win came in BSM's first overtime game of the season and was the Red Knights' first overtime win in a year, nearly to the day. They defeated Chaska, 3-2, in overtime Jan. 4, 2018.

Goalie Carson Limesand made 20 saves to record his second shutout of the season, moving him into a tie for fourth on the Red Knights' career shutout list with seven. Eleven of his 20 saves came while his team was killing a penalty.

Next up for the Red Knights is their only game in an 11-day span as they open Metro West Conference play, Thursday. BSM begins defense of its 2018 conference crown by hosting Bloomington Jefferson in a 7 p.m. game.
