ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. -- Charlie Frattalone made 37 saves and Benilde-St. Margaret's successfully killed six penalties, including a five-minute major and the game's final two minutes, 20 seconds, before finish in a 1-1 tie with Lakeville North.
With 6:06 to play in the third period, the Red Knights had to kill off a five-minute major penalty and then spent the final final 2:20 of overtime on the penalty kill, including a brief 5-on-3 kill.
The Panthers jumped on top of BSM from the game's opening faceoff, recording four shots on goal and seven attempts in the game's first 2:29.
The Red Knights scored on just their second shot on goal of the game when Charlie Damberg scored his second goal of the season at the game's 5:46 mark.
