BSM scores in all three periods to garner conference win.

VICTORIA, Minn. -- Benilde-St. Margaret's scored a goal in each period and the 10th-ranked Red Knights cruised to a 3-0 win at Chanhassen.

The Red Knights used a 58-15 advantage in shots on goal to keep the pressure on the Storm and got the scoring started early when Jonah Mortenson finished off a passing play from Jett Johnson and Blake Mesenburg by burying a shot from the middle of the slot just one minute, 15 seconds into the game.

The second goal, however, wouldn't come until 3:24 remained in the second period following when Brady Yakesh moved the puck from right to left inside the Chanhassen blueline to Seamus Foley.

Foley unloaded a shot from the left point which Johnson redirected in midair to give the visitors a 2-0 lead.

BSM sealed the win when it ended a three-game power-play drought as Jackson Bisson scored with 9:10 to play in the game.

Jack Olson stopped all 14 shots he faced in 46:47 to earn the win and Jonnie Vitelli made his season debut, playing the game's final 4:13 and stopping a shot.

Next up for the Red Knights is a 2 p.m. matinee, Saturday, in downtown St. Paul at the TRIA Rink, where they will face Holy Angels.

Jett Johnson set up the game's first goal and scored the second goal.
