EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Eden Prairie blew open a one-goal game with a four-goal second period and handed the Benilde-St. Margaret's junior varsity an 8-2 defeat.
The Red Knights got both of their goals from Brady Giertsen, his ninth and 10th on the season.
BSM was outshot 45-15 with Jack Olson stopping 21 of 26 shots in the first two periods while Simon Goodmanson turned aside 16 shots in third period, after giving up a goal on the first shot he faced.
After being away from home since Jan. 17, the Red Knights return home, Tuesday, for a non-conference game with St. Michael-Albertville.
