Beginning his 19th season with the Red Knight program is Craig Roberts, who serves as the program’s Director of Communications/Statistics and Analytics.
In his role, Roberts manages the program's website, handles media requests, compiles statistics and analytical data, works with event management and provides administrative support from his home in Marshall, Wis.
He has worked on the sports information staffs at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Minnesota State and the University of Minnesota as well as serving as the assistant commissioner for public relations with College Hockey America for three years and as the sports information director at Macalester College.
During his work with college hockey programs, he has been a part of three NCAA championships -- 1989 and 1990 NCAA Division III with the UW-Stevens Point men, and 2000 Division I with the University of Minnesota women.
Since moving back to Wisconsin, he has worked with the University of Wisconsin as a statistician for men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's hockey.

Roberts has been involved in the planning and management of three NCAA Frozen Fours, an NCAA Final Four, the 1998 World Figure Skating Championships, the 2001 IIHF Women’s World Hockey Championship and served as a stats manager for the 2022 IIHF Women's World U18 Championship in Madison, Wis.
He has also worked at numerous Minnesota State High School League and Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association state tournaments, regional and national youth events as well as providing statistics and media relations support for many NCAA universities and conferences.
In addition, Roberts worked with BSM’s football, volleyball and baseball teams previously as well as the volleyball programs at Coon Rapids and Lakeville North, where he was a member of the Panthers’ 2017 Class AAA state championship and 2019 consolation championship staffs.
Roberts continues to work with Da Beauty League, a 4-on-4 pro-am summer league at Braemar Arena in Edina, which he has been with since its inception in 2016. He also does statistics work for TV broadcasts of the Wisconsin state high school volleyball, softball and baseball championships, and the Kwik Trip Holiday Classic hockey tournament at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
After spending 22 years residing in the Twin Cities, he moved back to Wisconsin in July, 2019, to Marshall, Wis.
A native of Ashland, Wis., where he was a 1985 graduate of Ashland High School, Roberts attended UW-Stevens Point before completing his bachelor’s degree in mass communication at Minnesota State in 1997.
