Mayasich visits Red Knights over the holidays
Minnesota hockey legend John Mayasich stopped by to see the Red Knights.
When Benilde-St. Margaret's made its Dec. 21-22 road trip to Duluth and Hibbing, the team had the opportunity to visit with Minnesota hockey icon John Mayasich.
The man who had seven career hat tricks in the state tournament, led the Minnesota Golden Gophers in scoring twice, still holding the school's career scoring record, and earned three All-American honors, joined the team for a visit when they were in Hibbing.
