Risteau, Duda hook up for goals in game's final six minutes.

Zach Risteau had his first two-goal game of the season, scoring twice in the final seven minutes of the third period.

Zach Risteau scored twice in the third period as Benilde-St. Margaret's overcame a pair of two-goal deficits to salvage a 3-3 tie with Minnetonka.

The Skippers took a 2-0 lead when Nick Green scored one minute, 45 seconds into the second period and held that lead until early in the third period when Brady Artwohl finally broked the ice, scoring on the power play to cut the lead in half, 2:08 into the stanza.

Minnetonka would regain its two-goal lead just three minutes later but, with the game winding down to under seven minutes remaining in the third period, Zach Risteau knocked home a Nick Gionet rebound with 6:40 to play in the game and, just under two minutes later, he finished off a Jack Sims feed to tie the game.

Will Duda also assisted on both of Risteau's goal and Gionet also had two assists in the game.

After being outshot, 22-8, in the first two period, the Red Knights dominated the third, outshooting the Skippers, 13-3. In the end, Minnetonka held a 27-23 edge in shots with Jalen Long making 24 saves as he recorded his third tie of the season.

BSM returns to action, Tuesday, when they take on Mounds View in a 5:30 p.m. game at Shoreview Arena.
