Benilde-St. Margaret's Boys' Hockey

The Benilde-St. Margaret's junior varsity and varsity hockey teams volunteered their time, January 5, at Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen as part of their community service efforts over winter break.

They filled, sealed and packed food pouches that will be sent to starving children in Haiti. Each pouch will provide enough food for six meals.

At the end of their two hour experience, the team, with the help of a handful of additional volunteers, filled over 70 boxes of food which will feed 44 children with a daily meal for an entire year.
