ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. -- Prior to Saturday's game versus Hill-Murray, Benilde-St. Margaret's will honor Jack Jablonski ('14) by retiring his number 13 jersey.
The ceremony will take place prior to Saturday's 2:30 p.m. game versus Hill-Murray at the St. Louis Park Recreation Center.
Since suffering a spinal cord injury, Dec. 2011, Jablonski has inspired many by his demeanor, rehabilitation work and good nature in the face of adversity.
In 2012, he was the America's Choice Honoree for the CBS Courage in Sports Award and has been honored and celebrated for his dedication and determination by the Red Knights, who renamed their Most Determined Player Award in his honor.
Started in his name, The Jack Jablonski BEL13VE in Miracles Foundation is a charitable organization created to support spinal cord injury recovery.
Currently an assistant coach on the BSM staff, Jablonski will enroll at the University of Southern California in January.
