BSM NOTES: Red Knight co-captain this season ... Named one of the state's top defensive defensemen by the Hockey Hub Encyclopedia as well as a Super 100 Senior ... Also earned pre-season honorable mention all-state recognition by the HBE ... Has played three seasons on the varsity team, earning all-conference honors in 2008-09 ... Missed 17 games last year after suffering an ankle injury early in the season ... Tallied 12 points in 11 games ... Shared team honor as best defenseman ... Earned Andrew Alberts Most Improved Player Award in 2008 as the Red Knights finished third at class AA state championship ... Has recorded 38 points and +85 plus/minus rating in 67 career games ... A two-year varsity letterwinner in baseball as the team's starting centerfielder, helping to lead the Red Knights to back-to-back North Suburbance Conference titles ... Hit .279 last season while leading the team with 16 runs scored and 11 stolen bases ... Did not commit an error defensively while starting all 21 games and was an honorable mention all-conference selection.
PERSONAL: Has played two seasons in the Upper Midwest High School Elite League ... Parents are Pat and Michelle Daly ... An honor roll student at BSM and a two-time Red Knight Scholar-Athlete Award winner.
