BSM power-play scores three times in Metro West Conference win.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Jackson Bisson scored twice, including one of the Benilde-St. Margarets' season-high three power-play goals as the second-ranked Red Knights remained unbeaten with a 6-1 win at Bloomington Jefferson.

Ben Thompson's shot through traffic, two minutes, 35 seconds into the game, got the scoring going for the visitors and Bisson added his fifth goal of the season just over five minutes later in an active first period, which saw BSM out-shoot its host, 20-10.

The Red Knights doubled up the Jaguars shot total again in the second period, when Drew Stewart, in his second game in the Red and White, notched his first career goal at 3:30.

After going four-for-four on the penalty kill before getting its first opportunity, Bisson buried the puck on a goal-mouth scrambe with 3:32 to play in the middle frame.

Aran Daniels cut the lead to 4-1, scoring Jefferson's lone goal just 1:16 into the final period but Grant Ellings and James Callahan notched power-play tallies 28 seconds apart with 5:40 remaining in the game.

The Red Knights had a 49-30 advantage in shots on goal as Carson Limesand earned his sixth win of the season with a 29-save performance.

BSM will be in action again Saturday, when the Red Knights face Chaska in a Metro West Conference game. The matinee is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start at the St. Louis Park Rec Center.
