The visitors responded 23 seconds later, added another 1:18 after that, and took a 4-1 lead into the first intermission.
They extended their lead to 5-2 with the first of two power-play goals, which Mason Stenger answered before Abe Carlson scored back-to-back goals, the first shorthanded in the opening four minutes of the final period.
Jack Arnold then finish off his hat trick with a power-play goal with 5:25 to play in the game, giving him four points on the night.
Up next for the Red Knights is Tuesday's game at St. Thomas, which is scheduled for a 5 p.m. opening faceoff.
