Pair of three-goal periods leads Raiders JV to win over Red Knights
BSM takes early lead but CDH charges from behind.

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Max Wendt and Liam Moser scored in the game's first nine minutes but Cretin-Derham Hall cut the lead in half late in the opening period and went on to tack on three goals in each of the next two periods to claim a 7-4 junior varsity win over Benilde-St. Margaret's.
Wendt scored just one minutes, 45 seconds into the game for the Red Knights and Moser added his team-best fourth goal of the season seven minutes later.
The Raiders tied the score with a short-handed goal at 5:24 of the second period but Nick Palmer's power-play goal gave BSM a 3-2 lead with just under eight minutes remaining in the stanza.
CDH tied the scored headed into the final period and Ryan Warford's third-period hat trick put the game away, despite Mikey Lindberg's first goal of the season with 4:38 to play.
The Raiders held a slim, 38-35, edge in shots on goal as Brennan Chapman stopped 31 shots for the Red Knights.
BSM returns to action, Saturday, as it hosts Holy Family in a 5 p.m. game at the St. Louis Park Rec Center.
