Anderson's three game-winners lead BSM to three-game sweep.

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. -- Jack Anderson scored the game-winning goal in all three of Benilde-St. Margarets' win as the Red Knights swept three games to remain unbeaten on the season, in the Tradition in the Park Holiday Classic.

Anderson scored four goals and six points in the three games as BSM extended its unbeaten streak to 12 games, dating back to last season.

BSM 2, Andover 1

Taylor Salmon and Jack Anderson gave Benilde-St. Margaret's a 2-0 lead and Charlie Winegarner came within three minutes of posting a shutout as his 20 saves backstopped the Red Knights' second win of the season over Andover.

Salmon's goal came with four minutes, seven seconds remaining in the opening period when he came in from the right circle, tipped a Nick Palmer shot and then buried his own rebounds.

Anderson scored the eventual game-winner with 1:41 to play in the second period when he picked up the puck in the right corner in the BSM defensive zone.

He carried the puck up the left side, deked a Husky defenseman at the bottom of the left faceoff circle and snapped off a shot that beat Andover goalie Cal Conway on the short side.

From there, Winegarner made the lead stand up, only allowing  a power-play goal with 2:14 to play in the game, finishing with 20 saves to collect the win.

Taylor Salmon's power-play goal gave BSM a 1-0 first-period lead.

Dylan Popehn had a goal, two assists and eight shots on goal in the win over St. Louis Park.

The score remained 1-1 until Nick Palmer's shot from the left point four the back of the net and set off the four-goal outburst.

Liam Moser made it a 3-1 game 3:30 later and Jack Anderson scored back-to-back goals to finish out the period.

SLP scored a short-handed goal just 27 seconds into the final period but Nick Wahlstrom, Westan Quirk and Dylan Popehn scored the game's next three goals before the Orioles tallied with 1:56 to play.

The Cougars opened the scoring when Trey Newgard scored on the power play, just one minute, 42 seconds into the contest, but Popehn and Jack Anderson would both scored in the next three minutes to give BSM the lead for good.
