Benilde-St. Margaret's Boys' Hockey

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. -- All thirteen Benilde-St. Margaret's skaters recorded points, with 10 picking up at least two points, as the Red Knights exploded for 15 goals in a shutout win over Waconia.

Taylor Salmon scored the game's first goal of the game, just one minute, 17 seconds into the opening period, and then notched a natural hat trick in the third period, scoring four consecutive goals to take over the team lead with 19 goals on the season.

Nik Wahlstrom also had a hat trick, scoring once in the first period and twice in the second, while adding three assists as he, too, put together a six-point night.

Christian Beck tallied five assists on the night to lead eight players who recorded at least two assists on the night.

BSM scored their 15 goals on 66 shots on goal with Dylan Popehn, Liam Moser and Jack Anderson all recording 10 shots.

Next up is a home, non-conference tilt as the Red Knigths face Eden Prairie in a 5 p.m. game .
