Evan Fleming notched a hat trick and the Benilde-St. Margaret's junior varsity advanced to the semifinals of the Holiday Hockey Classic with a 6-2 win over Centennial.
Fleming scored the Red Knights' first two goals and, after the Cougars scored to make it a 3-1 game early in the third period, his goal at five minutes, four seconds of the final frame restored BSM's three-goal lead.
Storm Sullivan scored his team-leading 10th and 11th goals of the season late in the final period, sandwiching them around a Centennial power-play goal, to close out the scoring.
Zach Hale scored a power-play goal 13 seconds into the final period to account for BSM's other goal.
The Red Knights will face Eden Prairie in the Holiday Classic's second semifinal game, beginning at 2:30 p.m. on the East Rink of the St. Louis Park Rec Center, Thursday.
