Liberko hat trick leads BSM scoring onslaught

Danny Liberko recorded his first hat trick, Storm Sullivan recorded five points and Benilde-St. Margaret's cruised to a 14-0 junior varsity win over Spring Lake Park.

The Red Knights scored early and often as Zach Gionet got the game's first goal one minute, 44 seconds into the contest. He would add another goal at 1:46 of the second period which extended the lead to 5-0.

Jack Lawton also scored twice as eight BSM players recorded multiple-point games.

Storm Sullivan led the Red Nights with five points on the night, including a career-best four-assists. Nate Meyer racked up four points on a goal and three assists.

BSM held a 51-5 advantage in shots on goal, shutting out Spring Lake Park in that department in the final period.

The Red Knights return to action, Thursday, when they face Minnetonka in a 5 p.m. contest at the Pagel Activity Center.
