Henry Charcut stopped 21 shots against the Pioneers
MAPLEWOOD, Minn. - Hill-Murray scored twice in the game's final 20 to hand the Benilde-dt. Margaret's junior varsity a 2-0 defeat.
Brody Morrell's short-handed goal, with one minute, 39 seconds, remaining was the only goal the Pioneer's would need.
Hill-Murray tacked on an insurance goal when they scored with 6:50 to play in the game.
Kellen Moline led both teams with five shots on goal and six blocked shots.
Henry Charcut was in goal for the Red Knights stopping 21 of the 23 shots he faced.
BSM returns to Metro West Conference play, Tuesday, when it travels to New Prague for a 5 p.m. game.
