BSM JV roars back from early deficit for win over Holy Angels

Beck's three-point outing leads Red Knights to seven-goal outburst.

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. -- Holy Angels struck first, but Benilde-St. Margaret's scored seven unanswered goals to claim a 7-1 junior varsity win.

Noah Johnson scored the first of his two goals on the afternoon, wth just over two minutes remaining in the first period, starting the seven-goal rally.

Aaron Hatlestad gave the Red Knights the lead for good when he scored short-handed at the three minute, 17 second mark of the second period.

Connor Timmins scored on the power-play and Johnson's second goal of the game capped a three-goal second period.

BSM didn't stop there.

Milo Dungan, Christian Beck and Grayson Quirk scored in the final frame to cap off the victory.

Henry Charcut stopped 16 of 17 shots on goal, including the last 13 he faced, to pick up the win.

Next up for BSM is Tuesday's home game versus Bloomington. Opening faceoff on the east rink at the St. Louis Park Rec Center is slated for 5:15 p.m.
