Fleming, Polson-McCannon record hat tricks in victory.

Evan Fleming and Austin Polson-McCannon both recorded hat tricks and Benilde-St. Margaret's reached double digits in goals for the fourth time in five games as the Red Knights defeated Chisago Lakes, 11-0.

BSM didn't allow a shot on goal until the third period, finishing with a 67-2 advantage, 23 of which came on the power play, where the Red Knights converted four of seven chances.

Polson-McCannon, at two minutes, 42 seconds, and Fleming, at 4:09, scored the games first two goals and Storm Sullivan added his team-leading 21st of the season as BSM took a 3-0 lead in the opening period.

All four Red Knight power-play tallies came in the second period. Tanner Ahlborn got the first just 21 seconds into the session and Fleming scored the lone even-strength goal of the period less than two minutes later.

BSM took advantage of a five-minute power late in the period as Nate Meyer and Chris Hickok scored goals before Fleming capped his hat trick with the fourth and final power-play goal.

Polson-McCannon, who added two assists in the game, notched his final two goals in the third period, sandwiching them around a Jack Sims goal.

Zach Gionet had a game-high three assists as one of nine BSM players to record multiple-point and one of 11 to find their way into the scoring column.

The Red Knights are off until Thursday, when they are in North Suburban Conference action again with a 5:30 p.m. game versus Irondale at the Schwan's Super Rink.
