Lundberg's goaltending, three PP goals lead to victory for Red Knights.

Benilde-St. Margaret's scored three power-play goals, two in a 26-second span of the second period and Paul Lundberg earned a shutout as the Red Knights wrapped up the 2011-12 season with a 4-0 win over Stillwater.

Despite outshooting the Ponies, 17-2, in the opening period, BSM managed to get just one goal on the scorebard when Nate Meyer scored at six minutes, 23 seconds of the opening period.

It was the only goal of the opening period and it would take BSM nearly 19 minutes before scoring again.

Back-to-back major penalties on Stillwater set up the Red Knights with a 5-on-3 power with 5:11 to play in the period and, just 12 seconds later, Chris Hickok found the back of the net to get the hosts.

BSM remained on the 5-on-3 power play and, 26 seconds later, is was Tanner Ahlborn who got the puck past Ponies' goalie Colton Anderson for a 3-0 lead.

The Red Knights' final goal was also a power-play marker as they got the man advantage with 6:44 to play and it took just seven seconds for Zach Gionet to win a faceoff back to Jack Lawton, who moved the puck across the points to Matt Mogensen, who got the puck back to Gionet for the game's fourth goal.

Stillwater held a 9-7 edge in shots on goal in the final period, thanks to 7:51 of power-play time which resulted in seven of those shots.

Lundberg recorded his ninth win and second shutout of the season by stopping all 15 shots he faced in the victory.
