Benilde-St. Margaret's Boys' Hockey

Shattuck-St. Mary's scored early and often, setting a pace that Benilde-St. Maragaret's couldn't keep up with and the Sabres handed the Red Knights a 14-0 loss.

The visitors scored four times in the opening period, piled on seven goals in the second period, scoring five times in the first six minutes, and tacked on three more in the third period.

Luke McCormick, in a relief role, stopped 29 of 36 shots in 26 minutes of work. He stopped 17 of 21 shots in 11 minutes of work in the second period and made 12 saves in the final period.

BSM is in action again, Tuesday, Feb. 3, for another non-conference game when it takes on Osseo at 5:30 p.m.
