Sims tallies twice in Red Knight victory.

Hunter Brennan recorded a goal and two assists after tallying two points in his first 21 games.

Benilde-St. Margaret's used a 44-11 advantage in shots on goal and scored twice in each period en route to a 6-1 junior varsity win over Totino-Grace.

Jack Sims recorded his first two-goal game of the season and Hunter Brennan tallied a season-high three points to lead an offense which got production from several under-utilized sources.

Besides Sims, who scored the game's first goal and added his seventh of the season on an unassisted effort late in third period, Brennan's goal was his second of the season, Justin Winter scored his sixth while Davis Melin tallied his third and Eddie McHugh notched his first.

Jerry Calengor, who came into the game with four assists in 20 games, added two helpers and Mark Falls assisted on his second goal in three games after going without a point through his first 19 games.

Jalen Long evened his record on the season at 4-4-4 by stopping eight of the nine shots he faced. Patric Rooney finished the last three minutes, 50 seconds of the game and stopped a pair of shots.

At 10-9-4, BSM guaranteed itself a .500 record on the season. The Red Knights conclude the 2012-13 campaign, Saturday, with a 1 p.m. game at Stillwater.
