Despite outshooting Osseo 42 - 23, the Orioles defeated the Red Knights by a score of 6 - 4.  Sam Christoffson got the Orioles on the scoreboard first at 6:36 of the period with an unassisted goal.  BSM responded about a minute later with Tyler Ellegard scoring from a feed from Vince Beacom.  Osseo got the lead right back 36 seconds later on a goal from Justin Pinkerton.  BSM knotted the game again at 2 on a shot by Michael Blessing, with the assists going to Joe Haselman and Lucas Dickison.

The Red Knights came out strong in the middle period, outshooting the Orioles 16 - 6, but were only able to get one goal by the Osseo netminder.  Chris Flood scored with 25 seconds left in the period from Lucas Dickison and Joe Haselman.  The Red Knights and Orioles were tied at 3 going into the third period.

Again, BSM outshot Osseo for the period, but it was Osseo that would cash in on their opportunities.  Osseo grabbed the lead early at 3:07 on another unassisted goal.  The Red Knights tied the game again at 4 just 47 seconds later on a goal by Ned Nelson with assists to Robert Papetti and Ryan Lawyer.  A little over a minute later, Osseo would score what would be the game winning goal at 5:38 of the period.  The Orioles added an empty net goal with 1 second remaining for the final tally.

The Red Knights will next host conference opponent St. Francis on Saturday.
