Like the Varsity team, the JV team also wanted to settle a score with the Shattuck U16 team.  Last season, the Sabres outgunned the Red Knights and cruised to a 14 - 0 win in St. Louis Park.  This season, the Red Knights traveled to Faribault in the freezing rain and had to navigate numerous traffic problems where they arrived roughly 15 minutes before game time.  Shattuck wasted no time in this game as they scored just 1:26 into the first period.  They added 2 more goals in the period to take a 3 - 0 lead into the first intermission.  After the first period, the Red Knights seemed to settle down and gave Shattuck all they wanted.  Despite having some quality scoring chances throughout the game, BSM was unable to get a goal by the U16 net minder.  Shattuck defeated the Red Knights by a score of 5 - 0.  Anders Jecha played a solid game in goal.

The Red Knights will next take on Irondale on Tuesday night.
