Benilde-St. Margaret's Boys' Hockey

The Red Knights continue to roll along through the conference as they defeated Totino-Grace 6 - 1.  BSM outshot the Eagles 49 - 15 in the win.  The Red Knights also dominated special teams play as they converted on 4 of 6 powerplay chances and killed all 6 short handed situations.

Totino-Grace got on the board just 3:39 into the contest.  It would be their only goal of the game.  The Red Knights tied the game on the powerplay on a shot by Ryan Minkoff, with assists to Taylor Topousis and Michael Blessing.  BSM would later score 2 goals in a 24 second span to take a 3 - 1 lead into the first intermission.  Goal scorers were Joe Haselman (on the powerplay) from Ryan Minkoff and Chris Flood, and Robert Papetti unassisted.

The Red Knights added 2 more goals in the middle period on shots from Dominic Burg and Michael Blessing on the powerplay.  Players with assists in the period were Ryan Minkoff, Vince Beacom, and Chris Flood.  Chris Flood completed the scoring for the Red Knights with a powerplay goal at the 3:06 mark of the 3rd period, with the assist going to Taylor Topousis.
