The Benilde-St. Margaret's junior varsity squad rolled to its second consecutive shutout win by dominating Chisago Lakes, outshooting the Wildcats, 46-13, en route to a 4-0 win.

Despite controlling the opening period, in which they held a 19-3 shots on goal advantage, the Red Knights were unable to get on the scoreboard until four minutes, 58 seconds remained on the clock when Chris Hickok's shot hit traffic and found the back of the net to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.

BSM scored three times in the second period and got its second goal Garrett Haughey's shot was deflected by a Wildcat player past Kyle Buchanan, who would turn in a 42-save performance for the home squad.

Less than two minutes later, Tanner Ahlborn put the Red Knights ahead by three goals and Johnny Roux tucked home the puck with 3:21 remaining in the middle stanza to finish the scoring.

Paul Lundberg and Isaac Melin shared in the shutout for BSM. Lundberg started the game and picked up the win, turning aside six shots. Melin made six saves in the final period and, after entering the game with 7:18 to play in the second period, finished with seven saves.

The Red Knights return to action Tuesday when they host Edina in a 5 p.m. game at the St. Louis Park Rec Center.
