Papetti, Haselman score two each in win over Eagles.

Bobby Papetti and Joe Haselman each scored a pair of goals and a three-goal third period helped Benilde-St. Margaret's overcome an early deficit en route to a 6-3 win at Totino-Grace.

Papetti and Haselman set up Zach Gionet for the game's first goal at 8:08 of the first period but the Eagles scored goals 50 seconds apart late in the opening frame to take a 2-1 lead into the first intermission.

Haselman got the tying goal just 2:17 into the second period and Papetti's power-play tally, at 8:26 put BSM ahead to stay before Chris Hickok scored the eventual game-winner with 3:35 to play in the middle frame.

Papetti's second goal came midway through the third period and gave the Red Knights a 5-2 lead. The Eagles would close to within two goals before Haselman sealed the win with an empty-net goal with 25 seconds to play.

Meanwhile, Isaac Melin stopped 18 shots as BSM held a 33-21 advantage in shots on goal.

The Red Knights return to action Tuesday when they are at Osseo for a 5:30 p.m. game.
