O'Borsky collects three points in Red Knight win.

Despite controlling play throughout most of the game, Benilde-St. Margaret's needed a five-goal third period to put away a pesky Rochester Century squad, 7-3.

A power-play goal by Patrick Graham and the Red Knights' second power-play unit was the only goal of the opening period, coming 10 minutes, 25 seconds into the game.

The Panthers tied the scored just 31 seconds into the second period on a goal by Dominick Jacobs but Jake Horton restored the lead nine minutes later with another power-play goal.

Dalton Travis knotted the score once again, 64 seconds later at 10:45, and the game went into the second intermission tied at 2-2.

BSM got its first two-goal cushion when Pat Steinhauser scored 1:16 into the final period and Christian Horn scored at 5:01.

Century got back to within one goal when Luke Klugherz scored at 6:33 but, just 17 seconds later, Graham knocked down a clearing attempt by the Panthers and got the puck to O'Borsky in the slot and the left winger collected his 12th goal of the season.

The Red Knights then put the game away with a pair of late goals, Grant Besse scored his team-leading 28th goal of the season with 4:05 to play and Mike Blessing's first career power-play goal came with 1:02 on the clock.

BSM held a 40-13 advantage in shots on goal and 63-20 in total shot attempts.

The win extended the Red Knights' winning streak to eight games, a streak they will take into Tuesday's North Suburban Conference game at Spring Lake Park. Opening faceoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
