Former Red Knight scores OT winner to force decisive game.

Former Red Knight captain Brett Patterson ('10) scored at 9:48 of overtime to lift Sioux City to a 4-3 win over Sioux Falls in game two of the teams' best-of-three United States Hockey League playoff series.

After scoring eight goals and 22 points in the regular season, Patterson became the Musketeers' playoff here when he picked up a loose puck along the boards, moved to the high slot and ripped a slapshot that turned into his first playoff goal.

Patterson's goal forces a decisive third game in the teams' opening-round series, which takes place in Sioux Falls, Sunday, at 6:05 p.m.
