Benilde-St. Margaret's Boys' Hockey

Benilde-St. Margaret's left wing Dan Labosky has been selected to play for the U.S. Under-17 Select Team at the Five Nations Cup, Aug. 9-13, in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Labosky, who will be a junior for the Red Knights in 2011-12, was one of 22 players select from the Boys' Select 16 Player Development Camp, which took place June 24-30 at The Sports Centre at MCC in Rochester, N.Y.

In two varsity season at BSM, Labosky has scored 13 goals and 49 points and is coming off of a 10-goal, 43-point sophomore campaign which earned him All-North Suburban Conference honors.

At the Select 16 camp, Labosky tied for fourth in assists (5) and fifth in points (7) in five games.

He will play with a U.S. team which will compete in the Five Nations Cup against teams from the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia and Switzerland.
